A Myth Woven in Metal
Long ago, when the island of Sumba was young, the sun goddess *Mamuli* dipped her fingers into the earth and drew out its hidden light—copper, the veins of the land, pulsing with the fire of creation. She taught her daughters to weave it like thread, spinning sunlight into jewelry that held the power to protect, to adorn, and to tell stories older than time.
